Blue Phase
Praise Jesus for the victory of Tyler making it to Blue Phase last week! He has made it eight long, trying weeks by God's powerful might! This week he has had land navigation training and a 10-mile ruck march. Next week he'll have a PT test that he must score a 60% on. The test includes push-ups, sit-ups, and a 2-mile run. He has already succeeded at getting a 60% on his 2-mile run; he ran it in 15 minutes!! He is so proud of the title he is earning of Infantryman, and rightfully so. God has amazed me during this time. He has two more difficult weeks ahead of him until he completes his basic training. So please be praying for physical and spiritual strength. I have been reminded this past week in more ways than one that it we present our requests to God through prayer and petition, that He will provide for us in ways we never thought possible. God will see Tyler through to the very end because He never leaves his child. TWO MORE WEEKS!!! I am ecstatic!!! Praise Jesus! Love you all!

This is awesome! His last phase of basic! We'll be praying for his test next week. The push-ups? He should ace those, LOL, what with having to do 10 of them for each letter he receives! I sure do miss that fellow, and will be so excited to see him! It's amazing how God is working through this! I know without a doubt that Tyler sees it himself and he feels God's presence there with him, leading, guiding and giving him the wisdom, knowledge, strength, and speed he needs throughout it all. Thanks again Brittany for the blog posting! You should see me when I see you've posted something! I act like a little child! Love you girl!
The Lord has brought Tyler through this far. We need to continue to lift him up and trust the Lord that he will give Tyler the courage and strengh he needs to finish. Oh, how I thank the Lord for His blessings! Ret
Yay! One accomplishment after the other and all in the name of the Lord! I know that Tyler feels His presence. I know that our world here seems a little "off" with him gone so long but what a lesson in God's provision and grace we've all learned! I can't wait to see Tyler and hear all about what he's gone through. Love you Brittany!!!
